On the market, honestly

An ambition, not a promise

Thame’s market rights date from 1215 and are administered by the Town Council. Any Proudly Thame market happens with the Council, alongside the existing markets — never in competition with them. Until that conversation is concluded, we call it an ambition rather than a promise.

For sponsors

Campaigns, the printed guide and the map carry sponsorship. If your business wants its name on something the whole town actually uses, talk to us.
